1、 Importance of humidity in threshing and redrying stage

Tobacco leaves are highly hygroscopic materials - that is to say, they are greatly affected by the changes in the humidity of the surrounding air. If the relative humidity of the surrounding environment is low, the air will absorb water from tobacco leaves, making them dry and affecting the quality of tobacco leaves. According to the standards of the tobacco industry, the moisture content of tobacco leaves during aging storage is 16% - 18%. After aging, the tobacco leaves are unpacked, handled and selected to enter the threshing and redrying line for production.

In the process of unpacking, unpacking and leaf selection, tobacco leaves are easy to be broken due to the loss of water in tobacco leaves caused by operations such as tobacco feeding, handling and grading. It not only reduces the quality of tobacco leaves, resulting in economic losses, but also increases the dust concentration of the workshop, resulting in the deterioration of the production environment. Dust floats in the air, mixed with the strong smell of tobacco leaves, affecting the smell and breathing of workshop workers. Dust is not only the trouble of cleaning, but also the most common carrier of many microorganisms. Irritating smoke, dust, carbon dioxide in the air and a variety of microorganisms attached to the dust and other pollutants can lead to and aggravate chronic bronchitis, pneumonia and the health of workers when inhaled by workers.
