Advantages and disadvantages of industrial humidifier
Nov 23, 2022
Industrial production is inseparable from the appropriate air environment. Especially in the textile, electronic, printing and other places, the dry air environment is easy to generate static electricity and powder dust, which seriously affects the production process. Therefore, the industrial humidifier system is undoubtedly the most ideal choice.
At present, the most popular humidifiers on the market mainly include the following types. What are their advantages and disadvantages?
1. Centrifugal humidifier
Advantages: automatic humidity control, ventilation and humidification can be selected separately, which is more suitable for direct humidification under working conditions with humidity (>60% RH). Low cost and mature application.
Disadvantages: large particles, poor uniformity, waste of water. Suitable for outdoor humidification.
2. High pressure humidifier
Advantages: spray particles are fine, suitable for indoor humidification.
Disadvantages: High pressure air pump is required, which requires high water quality and has noise interference.
3. Wet film humidifier
Advantages: clean and noiseless. It can wash and filter the air. It has the effect of humidifying and cooling. Clean and isoenthalpy humidification without "white powder".
Disadvantages: large volume, small humidification.
4. Steam humidifier
Advantages: It belongs to isothermal humidification. The humidifier spray particles are small and gasified, without "white powder" or scaling, and has an air circulation system that can filter air and kill bacteria.
Disadvantages: high energy consumption.
5. Ultrasonic humidifier
Advantages: small particles, transportable, low energy consumption (only 1/10 to 1/15 of the electric humidifier); Long service life, automatic humidity balance, water free automatic protection, medical atomization and other functions.
Disadvantages: high requirements for water quality.
6. Electrode humidifier
Advantages: The humidification method is the simplest, spray particles are small, humidification is uniform, and there is no "white powder" phenomenon.
Disadvantages: high cost, large energy consumption, easy scaling on the heater.
